Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

To establish a new data science function, the full-time salaried Staff Data Scientist will build the foundational infrastructure, set rigorous standards, and ensure defensible insights that drive client outcomes, with the flexibility to work remotely or from the Massachusetts headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Own the evidence layer of the venture, ensuring accountability for product and customer signals
• Set standards for rigor by defining experimental methods and analytical practices
• Build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics infrastructure from scratch

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a data scientist in product environments
• Proven track record of building product analytics and managing them end to end
• Deep expertise in running product experiments with statistical rigor
• Graduate degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as Statistics or Data Science
• Strong ability to translate business questions into data problems and actionable insights
