Staff Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Staff Data Scientist will own high-impact problem spaces across product and business domains, partner with cross-functional stakeholders to shape product strategy, and design experiments to measure the impact of product changes.

Key responsibilities

• Own ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces and develop solutions with cross-functional partners
• Partner with stakeholders and leadership to shape product strategy and anticipate challenges
• Design and evaluate experiments to measure the impact of product and strategic changes

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in an analytical or quantitative role, including 5+ years as a Data Scientist
• Expertise in statistical techniques such as regression, hypothesis testing, and causal inference
• Extensive experience with a procedural programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis
• Demonstrated ability to tackle complex data questions and lead cross-functional efforts
• Experience mentoring other data scientists and improving team standards through best practices
