Staff Data Scientist in Epidemiology

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Scientist in Epidemiology and Patient Data Products.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead real world data studies to generate causal evidence for drug discovery and development projects
• Translate research questions into observational study designs and execute statistical models for patient-centric insights
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure the relevance and impact of insights generated from data analyses

Required Qualifications

• MPH, MS with 5+ years or PhD in epidemiology or biostatistics with 3+ years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of experience developing and executing analytical strategies using healthcare databases
• Experience leading epidemiologic projects from end-to-end, including study design and statistical modeling
• Extensive knowledge of causal approaches and advanced biostatistics, including machine learning algorithms
• Proficiency in data manipulation and statistical analysis using Python and/or R
