Staff Data Scientist, Pricing

Job Summary

Owning pricing experimentation and strategy, the full-time Staff Data Scientist, Pricing will design and analyze pricing tests, build models for optimal strategies, and communicate findings to executives while working remotely with occasional in-person sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end pricing experimentation, from test design through analysis and recommendations
• Develop and refine pricing models and evaluation frameworks for consumer products
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Finance stakeholders to establish pricing vision and roadmap

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science focused on pricing experimentation and statistical modeling (PhD preferred or Master's in a related field)
• 5+ years of experience leading pricing or experimentation workstreams, including A/B test design
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for statistical modeling and data analysis
• Experience delivering complex analytical projects from problem definition to executive presentation
• Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow efficiency and quality
