Staff Data Scientist, Pricing

Job Summary

Owning pricing experimentation and strategy, the full-time Staff Data Scientist, Pricing will design and analyze pricing tests, build models for optimal strategies, and communicate findings to executives while working remotely with quarterly in-person collaboration sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end pricing experimentation, including test design, analysis, and recommendations
• Develop and refine pricing models and evaluation frameworks for consumer products
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to establish pricing vision and priorities

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data science focusing on pricing experimentation and statistical modeling (PhD preferred or Master's in a related field)
• 5+ years of experience leading pricing or experimentation workstreams, including A/B test design
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for statistical modeling and data analysis
• Experience in independently scoping and delivering complex analytical projects across teams
• Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly for business-ready outputs and workflow improvements
