Staff Database Administrator
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Staff Database Administrator to support and optimize relational database infrastructure at large scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the health and performance of production relational database systems and their data integrity
- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot relational database systems across various environments
- Design and implement replication topologies and optimize database query performance
Required Qualifications
- Advanced experience with MariaDB or MySQL database administration, including complex replication topologies
- Proficiency in SQL and query/schema optimization
- Experience with high traffic and highly available website architectures
- Knowledge of Linux and data storage concepts
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
