Staff Decision Scientist

Job Summary

To support strategic initiatives, the remote Staff Decision Scientist will partner with product, engineering, marketing, and finance teams, owning the analytical narrative and delivering insights that drive decision-making and resource allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the analytical narrative for the Operating Group, setting the agenda for key questions and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Present actionable insights to leadership and teams, ensuring data-driven decisions lead to tangible outcomes
• Establish causality using appropriate tools and define metrics strategies that measure user engagement and product effectiveness

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in an analytics, data science, or decision science role at a consumer tech company
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with causal inference methods in applied settings
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/R for statistical analysis
• Track record of influencing product or business strategy through data
