Staff Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Design Engineer who operates across the full picture of product design and web interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build high-quality UI for web products with a strong understanding of user experience
• Own and evolve complex, reusable components within the design system to ensure quality and consistency
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and product leads to clarify and solve ambiguous problems

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, CSS, and system design and architecture
• Deep experience with component-driven design systems and building for consistency at scale
• Ability to work autonomously and identify user needs and technical constraints
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complex UX problems and create clear interfaces
• Experience with Figma and a TypeScript codebase as an integrated discipline
