Staff Design Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the design system for multiple products, the full-time Staff Design Engineer will manage the component library, React codebase, and design language while integrating AI tooling to enhance development workflows in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the design system, including the component library and documentation
• Encode quality standards into the system and collaborate with the AI Enablement team to enhance design rules
• Partner with front-end engineering and product design teams to ensure seamless adoption and implementation of components

Required qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in product design and front-end engineering
• Deep proficiency in React and experience with component architecture and code quality
• Expert-level skills in design tools and design system management
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex
• Experience building and maintaining a design system used by multiple teams in production
