Job Summary
Serving as a trusted technical partner, the full-time remote Staff Designated Support Engineer will provide hands-on support for priority customers, focusing on query performance optimization, cost analysis, and system integration while driving issue resolution and maintaining high case quality.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize query performance, providing actionable support to prevent recurring issues
- Analyze customer warehouse configurations for cost optimization and implement recommendations collaboratively
- Lead disaster recovery drills and ensure release readiness while advocating for customer needs in issue resolution
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Technical Support, Solutions Architecture, or Data Engineering
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
- Advanced SQL expertise, including query debugging and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with distributed database platforms and ETL/ELT tools
- Demonstrated ability to utilize AI-assisted workflows for technical problem-solving
