Staff Developer

Job Summary

Championing best practices and tackling complex technical challenges, the full-time remote Staff Developer will design scalable software architectures, implement coding standards, and leverage data to enhance system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable, secure software architectures aligned with business goals
• Introduce and implement best practices around object-oriented programming, domain-driven design, and microservices
• Conduct regular code reviews and facilitate communication between development teams and stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• Strong understanding of solid coding principles, unit and integration testing
• Experience leading projects involving scale, concurrency, and data ingestion
• Familiarity with secure development practices and tools such as AWS and SQL
• Proven track record of using AI to streamline workflows and enhance productivity
