Job Summary
Combining engineering expertise with creative storytelling, the full-time remote Staff Developer Advocate will manage technical executive storytelling, drive event content programs, and define advocacy initiatives for senior technical audiences.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the key technical storyteller for senior technical executive audiences
- Drive the execution of technical event content programs to deliver compelling educational stories
- Partner with internal leaders to enhance public communication and represent Datadog at industry events
Required qualifications
- Approximately 5+ years of experience as a software developer, SRE, or similar role
- Approximately 8+ years in a senior technical leadership position, influencing product direction
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in storytelling and creating compelling technical content
- Proven ability to coach others in public speaking and presentation skills
- Experience collaborating with technical conference organizers or as an event organizer
