Staff DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a new product in a high-autonomy environment, the full-time Staff DevOps Engineer will own and evolve critical infrastructure, improve developer experience, and collaborate closely with product engineers and technical leads while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the infrastructure supporting the product, including AWS environments, CI/CD, and operational tooling
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Pulumi and TypeScript, while improving deployment pipelines and runtime configuration
• Lead observability and incident readiness efforts, ensuring platform security, reliability, and performance as the product scales

Required Qualifications

• Extensive production experience with AWS services such as ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora PostgreSQL, and VPC networking
• Strong background in infrastructure-as-code, preferably with Pulumi and TypeScript or Terraform
• Operational expertise in PostgreSQL, including performance tuning, backups, and migrations
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD systems, ideally with GitHub Actions
• Proven ability to improve deployment safety and incident response through observability practices
