Staff DevOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing AI-powered mental healthcare platform, the full-time Staff DevOps Engineer will set the technical direction for infrastructure, manage AWS and Kubernetes environments, and enhance developer experience through hands-on leadership and innovative solutions in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Set and drive the technical vision and quarterly roadmap for infrastructure with measurable goals
- Run and evolve AWS + Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring zero-downtime operations and effective cluster management
- Own Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD processes, while implementing observability tools for system health monitoring
Required qualifications
- 6+ years in DevOps/infrastructure engineering with strong systems fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and production Kubernetes/EKS
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK) and CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Practical knowledge of security engineering in a HIPAA environment
