Staff DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

As a foundational hire within the newly formed Infrastructure Engineering team, the full-time Staff DevOps Engineer will set the technical direction for ATG's infrastructure and platform function, focusing on CI/CD standardization, cloud architecture, and developer experience while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and drive the 2-year Infrastructure Engineering technical strategy, defining capabilities and prioritizing platform investments across 8 marketplaces
• Serve as the infrastructure technical partner to development squads, attending sprint planning and architecture reviews to guide infrastructure decisions and enforce standards
• Contribute to the design and governance of ATG's CI/CD golden path strategy and establish observability standards across all marketplaces

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years in Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Engineering, or SRE, with at least 3 years in a senior or staff-level capacity
• Proven experience owning a technical roadmap or multi-year infrastructure strategy at the team or department level
• Deep cloud infrastructure architecture experience, particularly with AWS, and strong IaC background using Terraform
• Hands-on experience designing and operating CI/CD platforms at scale and defining observability standards using OpenTelemetry or equivalent
• Exceptional written communication skills, capable of producing clear technical guidance and persuasive strategy documents
