Staff DevOps Engineer - Security

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff DevOps Engineer to enhance their developer platform and implement robust security practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical vulnerability assessments and collaborate with teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities
• Design and implement security solutions across infrastructure and applications, ensuring adherence to "secure by default" principles
• Monitor security alerts from various tools and automate security practices within CI/CD pipelines

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and securing Windows and Linux environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and IAC tools like Terraform
• In-depth knowledge of AWS environments and their security services
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, CEH) are a plus
