Staff DevSecOps Engineer

Job Summary

As the technical owner of security in Trase's software development lifecycle and cloud operations, the full-time Staff DevSecOps Engineer will integrate automated security testing, manage vulnerability assessments, and implement secure coding practices within CI/CD pipelines, working remotely or from Seattle, WA or McLean, VA.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate shift-left security toolchain across CI/CD pipelines, including SAST, DAST, and IaC scanning
• Develop and deploy production cloud security architecture focusing on Google Cloud Platform and multi-cloud environments
• Enhance incident response capabilities and lead security incident management efforts across the organization

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, or cloud security roles
• Deep expertise in securing CI/CD pipelines with hands-on experience in SAST, DAST, and IaC scanning
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and multi-cloud security practices
• Expert-level skills in Terraform for building secure infrastructure modules
• Demonstrated experience in operating a SIEM and leading incident response efforts
