Staff Embedded Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Embedded Systems Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation and selection of application processors for next-generation products
• Design and maintain hardware abstraction layers (HALs) to facilitate platform migration
• Oversee the end-to-end development and optimization of embedded systems and firmware

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in Embedded Systems, with at least 5 years focused on high-level application processors
• Proven track record with multiple SoC vendor platforms and deep knowledge of Linux kernel and device drivers
• Expertise in wireless protocols and IoT technologies
• Experience with implementing Over-The-Air (OTA) updates and embedded security practices
