Staff Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer to design and guide complex systems while mentoring teams and driving architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of core systems critical to growth and customer impact
• Partner with engineering leads and stakeholders to shape product direction and deliver cohesive solutions
• Champion CI/CD, operational readiness, and take ownership of platform performance and technical debt management

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Expertise in designing and building scalable distributed systems and backend services
• Strong coding abilities in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or equivalent
• Experience working in cloud environments, preferably GCP
• Proficiency with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
