Staff Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer to create technical strategies for key systems while ensuring platform scalability and extensibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide architectural leadership across interdependent engineering teams and business departments
• Connect independent systems to ensure clean and discoverable customer data across various teams
• Partner with business stakeholders to enhance the tech stack for data governance, reporting, and performance analytics

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on systems architecture
• 8+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails
• Experience in Agile and TDD environments building SaaS applications in the cloud (AWS)
• Proven experience leading projects and mentoring engineers
• Solid understanding of building modern web applications at scale
