Staff Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer to design and build core services for payment processing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and reliable technical solutions for payment processing
• Lead resolution of complex technical challenges and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards
• Mentor team members and promote best engineering practices, including Agile and DevOps methodologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in engineering environments with a focus on software architecture
• Experience with performance SLOs, high availability, and security in software solutions
• Proficiency in managing large-scale projects and understanding data integration patterns
• Master's degree in a related field and financial services industry experience preferred
