Staff Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Staff Engineer responsible for setting engineering direction and guiding architectural decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions for the platform and products
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for seamless data ingestion and transformation
- Provide mentorship to engineers and ensure system scalability, performance, and security
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in designing scalable, distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Understanding of data processing and warehousing tools and techniques
- Experience in Python, AWS Lambdas, and Java is a plus
- EMR Integration experience at the API level with Epic, Athena, Cerner, or Vim is desired
- Strong track record of leading complex technical projects from concept to deployment
