Staff Engineer

Job Summary

To drive the technical direction of enterprise engineering platforms, the full-time Staff Engineer will translate customer needs into scalable design solutions, collaborating with IT leadership and stakeholders while mentoring senior engineers in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement software solutions that align with high-level engineering goals and business initiatives
• Lead the development of architecturally impactful components and frameworks, ensuring long-term platform scalability
• Coach and mentor engineering teams on best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of experience in engineering environments with a proven track record of delivering detailed software engineering plans
• Expertise in architecting software solutions with a focus on performance, reliability, and security
• Proficiency in technologies such as React, Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, AWS, and Docker
• Strong ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences, including high-level management
