Staff Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the architecture and engineering context for a specific tribe, the full-time Staff Engineer will build and evaluate internal engineering agents and skills, ensuring that builders can make sound technical decisions autonomously while addressing complex migrations and system-wide refactors.
Key responsibilities
- Own and maintain the tribe's engineering context, agents, and skills, ensuring coherence and relevance to product work
- Build and enhance internal engineering tools that encode architectural standards and quality gates for Product Builders
- Address challenging technical problems, including migrations and architecture decisions, to support future development
Required qualifications
- Proven experience as a senior or staff-level engineer with ownership of complex systems at scale
- Ability to translate technical judgment into reusable architecture and tooling that is widely adopted
- Experience managing multi-cycle technical views while delivering immediate shipping needs
- Strong communication skills across various levels of the organization
- AI Fluency Level 4 or equivalent experience in shipping AI-integrated engineering solutions
