Staff Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer to join their remote-friendly team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and iterate on various commerce and marketplace products
• Lead by example as a dedicated and flexible technologist
• Set and drive architectural design and development objectives for emerging suite of tools

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in B2B marketplace technical roles or eCommerce
• Expert-level experience with large-scale decoupled, event-driven, service-oriented systems
• Extensive experience refactoring legacy systems in an iterative fashion
• Experience working in and advocating for agile environments
• Expert-level experience working with APIs and in an API-driven environment
