Staff Engineer AI/ML

Job Summary

To support a growing engineering team, the full-time Staff Engineer AI/ML will manage architecture evolution, mentor engineers, and drive technical initiatives in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the architecture of the core platform, driving the JavaScript TypeScript migration and designing ETL pipelines
• Mentor engineers at all levels, establishing engineering standards and serving as a technical resource for stakeholders
• Partner with engineering leadership and product teams to scope and de-risk large technical initiatives while leading production support efforts

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3 years in a senior or staff-level role
• Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript within a production full-stack environment
• Proven experience designing distributed systems or data pipeline architectures on AWS
• Significant experience architecting and deploying production-grade ML/AI systems, including LLM integration
• Track record of technical mentorship and improving the capabilities of engineers
