Staff Engineer, AI Platform

Job Summary

Designing and owning a new internal AI platform, the full-time Staff Engineer, AI Platform will create foundational architecture and tooling to enable teams across the company to develop AI-powered workflows, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage the core AI infrastructure and agent framework to support internal teams in building and deploying AI solutions
• Provide technical guidance and support to help teams transition from ideas to working implementations, ensuring accessibility and usability of the platform
• Establish standards for evaluating and evolving AI capabilities, aligning infrastructure with broader architectural goals and ensuring reliability and quality

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in platform, infrastructure, or developer tooling
• Hands-on experience with production AI systems, including LLM integrations and tool-using agents
• Strong instincts for API and abstraction design, with a focus on enabling other engineers
• Experience in delivering greenfield technical work and making impactful architectural decisions
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional alignment without formal authority
