Staff Engineer, AI Platform

Job Summary

To drive the development of scalable AI architecture, the full-time Staff Engineer, AI Platform will translate enterprise AI engineering roadmaps into reusable technical patterns and production-grade shared services while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define enterprise AI architecture patterns and create reference architectures to enable consistent AI development across business units
• Design and build reusable AI components and shared platform services, establishing quality standards and guiding teams through their adoption
• Architect engineering controls for responsible AI governance, partnering with security and compliance stakeholders to embed requirements into development pipelines

Required qualifications

• Progressive experience in enterprise software or AI platform engineering roles
• Deep understanding of generative AI, large language model integration, and production AI system design
• Experience designing shared platform services and reusable component libraries used by multiple teams
• Strong architecture judgment across security, reliability, scalability, and operational cost tradeoffs
• Experience implementing AI governance controls such as access management and model lifecycle management
