Staff Engineer - AI Toolkit
Job Summary
To shape the future of AI-enabled software engineering, the contract-to-hire Staff Engineer - AI Engineering Productivity will lead the development of an internal AI Toolkit, define best practices, and partner with engineering teams to enhance AI adoption and productivity in a remote-friendly environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the creation and evolution of the organization's internal AI Toolkit and engineering AI ecosystem
- Define best practices, governance, and onboarding experiences for AI development tools
- Partner with engineering teams to identify challenges and improve developer productivity through AI solutions
Required qualifications
- Extensive software engineering experience with modern application development
- Experience building or implementing AI-enabled developer workflows
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and/or AWS Bedrock
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, and distributed systems
- Proven ability to influence engineers and technical leaders without direct authority
