Staff Engineer, Builder Enablement

Job Summary

As a founding member of the Builder Enablement team, the full-time Staff Engineer will identify common design needs across application engineering teams and create reusable solutions, including documentation and code templates, to enhance developer experience in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Identify design and implementation needs and translate them into reusable paved paths that accelerate delivery
• Create and maintain high-quality documentation and implementation guides to assist engineers in building on enterprise platforms
• Develop reusable artifacts, such as Terraform modules and code templates, that encode best practices for new systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of relevant experience in building and operating production software systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Proven ability to create practical technical guidance that is successfully adopted by engineers
• Familiarity with developer workflows and tooling, including CI/CD and deployment patterns
