Staff Engineer, Continuous Integration

Job Summary

Driving the Continuous Integration (CI) efforts, the remote Staff Engineer will manage the design, implementation, and optimization of development pipelines, ensuring reliability and efficiency for high-quality software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design and reliability of build and CI pipelines across multiple services and platforms
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance deployment workflows and address developer pain points
• Lead and mentor CI engineers while contributing to the strategic vision for developer productivity infrastructure

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in CI, build systems, or developer productivity domains
• Strong background in modern build systems such as GitHub, Buildkite, or Bazel
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments like AWS and Kubernetes
• Solid programming skills in Python, Kotlin, Java, or similar languages
• Either a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
