Staff Engineer, DevOps
Job Summary
To support innovative technology solutions in civic healthcare, the full-time remote Staff Engineer, DevOps will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, develop monitoring tools, and ensure the security and compliance of microservices and APIs on AWS.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools to streamline deployment and management of microservices on AWS
- Develop and deploy monitoring and performance optimization tools to ensure observability and resilience of applications
- Collaborate with software development teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring application performance and security
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and/or x+ years of experience in DevOps or system administration
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Github Actions
- Experience with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
- Strong knowledge of containerization tools, specifically Docker and Amazon ECS
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash/zsh preferred)
