Staff Engineer - Experimentation

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer on the Experimentation team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build the experimentation statistical engine ensuring statistical correctness across all experiment types
• Design warehouse-native experimentation that runs analysis inside customer warehouses and build modular, warehouse-agnostic abstractions
• Lead adaptive experimentation systems and drive the platform roadmap with product, design, and data science teams

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in building large-scale experimentation platforms or data-intensive backend services
• Knowledge of applied statistics including hypothesis testing, sequential analysis, and experiment design
• Experience with adaptive experimentation ML techniques such as contextual bandits and Bayesian optimization
• Track record of designing warehouse-agnostic systems across major data platforms like Snowflake and BigQuery
• Expertise in backend programming languages such as Go or Python
