Staff Engineer in Applied AI

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Staff Engineer in Applied AI, the successful candidate will mentor team members, influence engineering practices, and lead project teams in developing innovative AI solutions for both internal and client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor team members and participate in hiring and annual review processes to shape the engineering culture
• Collaborate with leadership to propose and present engineering practices and architectures that influence business development
• Lead project teams in gathering and refining business requirements into deployable systems, ensuring high-quality documentation and code delivery

Required qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience in software development, including team collaboration
• Expertise in ML / Applied AI tools and patterns, including LLM and MLOps
• Experience with various AI models and their applicability to specific use cases
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, business administration, or a related field
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and architectural patterns like SOA and Microservices
