Staff Engineer - Java

Job Summary

Leading the modernization of the servicing organization, the full-time hybrid Staff Engineer - Java will provide technical leadership, collaborate across teams, and design high-quality API and microservices solutions using Java, Python, and other technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and influence engineering direction across multiple areas
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality services and software solutions
• Design and develop APIs and microservices, ensuring quality and performance

Required qualifications

• Proven expertise in API first engineering and event-driven architecture
• Deep hands-on experience in building complex SaaS systems, particularly with Docker and Kubernetes
• Fluency in Java and at least one other modern programming language (C#, C++, or Python)
• Extensive experience in leading full-stack application and service development
• Strong understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases
