Staff Engineer, ML/AI Platform

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Staff Engineer, ML/AI Platform, this role focuses on architecting and building foundational AI and ML infrastructure, enabling engineers and data scientists to deploy models efficiently in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect ML platform strategy, including data pipelines and serving layers using advanced tools like Ray and Spark
• Build and operate production-grade, low-latency ML serving systems with robust model lifecycle management
• Mentor platform and ML engineers while providing technical leadership across Attentive's AI strategy

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in ML Platform/MLOps with a strong understanding of best practices and tooling
• Proven track record of building core components of ML platforms using tools such as Spark and MLFlow
• Experience with high-throughput agentic stacks and online/offline inference systems
• Strong expertise in Python for batch processing and online service frameworks
• Ability to design and implement inference pipelines with automated model promotion
