Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineering for a 12-month contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate terms, discounts, and contracts with suppliers for technical equipment and custom products
• Maintain understanding of technology trends, market forces, and supplier technology road maps
• Review purchase orders and contracts for compliance, addressing defects and delivery issues with suppliers

Required Qualifications

• Advanced college degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a specialized field
• Experience in the medical device industry is preferred
• Deep expertise in supplier quality engineering or related discipline
• Ability to perform in-depth analysis and develop innovative solutions
