Job Summary

Leading the front-end architecture for a CRM modernization effort, the full-time Staff Engineer (React) will manage complex technical decisions and collaborate across multiple squads to ensure seamless integration with legacy systems while working remotely or from the Sydney or Brisbane offices.

Key responsibilities

• Own and define the front-end architecture for the CRM modernization, ensuring interoperability with legacy systems
• Lead technical discussions and set standards for component architecture, state management, and testing across squads
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and make necessary backend changes to facilitate front-end delivery

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in front-end software development, with extensive expertise in React and TypeScript
• Proven track record of leading front-end migrations or rewrites that coexist with legacy systems
• Experience influencing technical direction and decisions across multiple teams
• Comfortable collaborating with backend engineers to define API contracts and services
• Experience in fast-paced delivery environments with tight deadlines and distributed teams
