Job Summary

Driving solutions for complex, high-impact problems, the full-time Staff Engineering Lead will manage a small group of engineers and collaborate with product and operations teams to enhance payroll systems, ensuring reliability and scalability in a remote or hybrid work environment.

• Experience owning and delivering production systems end-to-end
• Experience leading and developing engineers into stronger owners
• Strong technical judgment and ability to simplify systems
• A track record of driving outcomes in ambiguous environments
