Job Summary

Driving the resolution of complex, high-impact problems, the full-time Staff Engineering Lead will manage a small team of engineers to enhance production systems related to payroll calculations, tax payments, and filings, while collaborating closely with product and operations teams in a remote or hybrid work environment.

• Develop engineers into stronger owners across changing areas of the business
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to define product behavior and clarify requirements

• Experience owning and delivering production systems end-to-end
• Experience leading and developing engineers into stronger owners
• A track record of driving outcomes in ambiguous environments
• Strong technical judgment and ability to simplify systems
