Staff Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineering Manager to lead the Build and Test team within the Developer Experience organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to align on problem-solving efforts
• Unblock obstacles for team members and ensure effective communication of progress and risks
• Oversee the production of quality code and architectural design outcomes while balancing speed and stability

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or a related technical discipline, with proven experience in production software coding
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Experience in maintaining and delivering production software in languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
• Experience in leading large-scale CI/CD and build systems is preferred
