Staff Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineering Manager, Data Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive department-wide conversations around technical issues and engineering practices
• Ensure the team builds software that is architecturally consistent and of high quality
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and coordinate project priorities with engineering and product leads

Required Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related technical discipline with proven software coding experience in multiple programming languages
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field with corresponding years of experience
• Experience maintaining and delivering production software
• Equivalent experience may be considered
