Staff Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of software engineers, the full-time Staff Engineering Manager will drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software products for PSA Set Registry, a consumer-facing platform, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the design, development, and delivery of software products from concept to production release
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, including architecture decisions and release management
- Lead and mentor software engineering teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in architecting systems and hands-on development in modern API development
- 5+ years of experience with AWS technologies such as Lambda, SQS, and API Gateway
- Proficiency in Python and experience with strongly typed languages like C# or Java is a plus
- Strong fundamentals in databases and data modeling, both relational and NoSQL
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CDK or Terraform
