Staff Enterprise Applications Developer

Job Summary

Analyzing complex business challenges, the full-time Staff Enterprise Applications Developer will design, develop, and support applications on the IBM Maximo platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support applications on the IBM Maximo platform, enhancing functionality through configurations and customizations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and build integrations with enterprise systems
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, deployment, and troubleshooting across applications and integrations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 8-12 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 5-7 years of experience, or a PhD with 2-4 years of experience
• Extensive experience with IBM Maximo, including implementation, configuration, and customization
• Proficiency in Python, Jython, JavaScript, SQL, and XML for automation and integrations
• Strong understanding of Maximo architecture and experience building complex BIRT reports
• Experience with REST/JSON integrations and a solid understanding of database systems, particularly DB2
