Staff Finance Data Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Finance Data Analyst to lead financial analytics initiatives and support strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models in Snowflake to transform product telemetry into financial views
• Forecast revenue, costs, and gross margin using Python-driven Monte Carlo and statistical models
• Conduct variance and root-cause analysis on revenue, COGS, and operating expenses

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in analytics or data science, preferably in finance with SaaS or usage-based models
• Hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake, including performance tuning and cost management
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for forecasting and statistical analysis
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Hex, Mode, or Tableau
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
