Staff Front End Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a fully remote Staff Front End Engineer, the position offers a permanent role focused on crafting world-class software using React and functional programming to enhance personal financial advice, while collaborating with a high-performing engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management and financial planning teams to define and build user-centric solutions
• Design, develop, and test clean code using React and Golang, deploying to AWS
• Champion functional JavaScript and maintain a strict front-end philosophy, avoiding Redux or Zustand

Required qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of professional full-stack web development experience
• 3 or more years of recent experience with React (version 16 or newer)
• Strong proficiency in functional JavaScript and the Context API for state management
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL
• Passion for continuous learning and adaptability in a fast-paced tech startup environment
