Staff Frontend Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the quality and consistency of core flag surfaces, the full-time remote Staff Frontend Engineer will ensure a coherent user experience across teams, manage design system adoption, and drive product improvements based on customer needs.
Key responsibilities
- Own the consistency and quality of core flag surfaces, setting direction for shared interactions and reviewing team outputs
- Set the agenda based on customer evidence, prioritizing improvements that address user needs and workflows
- Build and maintain interaction primitives for workflows, ensuring shared capabilities are utilized across the product
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with deep frontend expertise, including ownership of multi-team systems
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React, with the ability to work across API boundaries
- Experience owning and implementing a design system that was successfully adopted by teams
- Demonstrated product and UX judgment, with the ability to trace workflows and identify user friction
- Proven track record of influencing cross-team standards without formal authority
