Staff Full Stack Engineer
Job Summary
To support the mission of climate action, the remote Staff Full Stack Engineer will design, build, and deploy full-stack features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop AI-augmented software solutions for clients while ensuring quality and reliability throughout the software lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy full-stack features end-to-end, from prototyping to enterprise-scale implementation
- Make architectural decisions and shape engineering practices as a senior voice within the team
- Collaborate with product managers, scientists, and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical solutions
Required qualifications
- Significant professional experience as a full-stack engineer with expertise across front-end, back-end, databases, and deployment
- Proven track record of building and operating systems at scale, making sound tradeoffs in multi-layer distributed systems
- Experience deploying AI-augmented software systems to production
- Strong product instincts and commercial awareness, with a focus on building impactful solutions
- Experience in carbon, climate, or energy sectors is a strong plus
