Staff Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

To set the technical direction and scale the core web platform, the full-time Staff Full Stack Engineer will drive architecture and technical strategy across Go backend and React/TypeScript frontend, ensuring compliance and reliability while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical architecture and roadmap for the core web platform across multiple engineering teams
• Lead the internal tooling and testing infrastructure strategy to enhance delivery for the broader engineering organization
• Mentor senior engineers and contribute to shaping the technical direction for the open-source codebase

Required qualifications

• Senior full-stack development experience in Go and React, with a proven track record of owning complex systems end-to-end
• Experience designing and owning distributed systems or high-availability service architecture at scale
• Proficiency in designing and consuming REST and WebSocket APIs with solid networking fundamentals
• Relational database experience, including PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization
• Hands-on fluency with AI coding agents for various development tasks, demonstrating good judgment in their use
