Staff GIS Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Level GIS Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare web maps for field staff use and manage field data, including calculations and map products
• Communicate workload with the team to meet productivity goals and ensure timely project delivery
• Create cartographic-quality map products and maintain geospatial databases using ArcGIS

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Cartography, Archaeology, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field with GIS emphasis
• Six months of relevant experience with GPS technology and field data collection techniques
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro 3.x and ArcMap 10.x, including knowledge of cartography and map creation procedures
